Description

Complex of CDK8 (cyclin dependent kinase 8) and cyclin C (also known as CCNC).
Recombinant human CDK8, full length encompassing amino acids 2-464 (end), contains an N-terminal GST-tag. Recombinant human Cyclin C, full length encompassing amino acids 2-283 (end), also contains an N-terminal GST-tag. The two proteins were co-expressed in Sf9 insect cells and spontaneously formed a complex, which was affinity purified.
